The Haunting

It’s been said that everyone deserves a second chance. It’s also been said that there’s always an exception to the rule. In both cases one can safely say that it would have to depend on the circumstances and the connection that one had with that person. They also say forgive and forget, as if that knife that you have to pull out of your back slides right out. But when someone is hurt it’s only natural that a person will need time to heal.  Another popular saying is “time heals all wounds”, but even with the smallest of wounds there will always be some type of a scar left. In my book “Why Ruin Another Life” the character Marva’s wound is so deep that she finds it so hard to forget the terrible thing that befell on someone she loved and to forgive her role in this incident. She thinks the solution is to hide the secret that could potentially set her free, not realizing that skeletons left in the closet will haunt you for the rest of your life.
